Finding Home

Something Bigger than Advertising

I was approached by Ibrahim Nehme to concept and write for a Beirut-based magazine dedicated to bringing hope and possibility to the Arab world, The Outpost. At the time, the refugee crisis had reached epidemic proportions. With so many lacking a place to call home, we created a special issue that reflected the search for home in an interactive way. Even though we had one of the best photographers in the Arab world, the issue itself contained no photographs. That was done for a reason. The issue was dotted with blank boxes and came with sheets of adhesive photographs. That way, readers could finally find homes for the literal and cultural refugees printed on them.
